It is not recommended that a VentSaver be screwed into a standing seam metal roof panel. Penetrating a standing seam metal roof panel with fasteners will usually void most roof warranties because it interferes with the thermal expansion required for the panels to float in fluctuating temperatures. The VentSaver products on this page come with a standing seam mounting plate that attaches directly to the standing seam with RoofClamps.
